Koffee With Karan 7:Why did Suhana Khan choose Zoya Akhtar over Karan Johar for her debut?

Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is all set to make her acting debut with The Archies directed by Zoya Akhtar . Although Karan Johar has so far offered a launchpad for star kids in the film industry, we wonder why Suhana preferred Zoya for her launch. Despite knowing the fact that Shah Rukh and Karan share a forever bond, a new star kid debut with no Dharma Production tag seems quite new. Well, all these questions will reportedly be answered by Suhana herself on the infamous chat show Koffee With Karan 7 .

As per Bollywood Life report, Suhana will be making her Koffee debut along with her The Archies co-star Khushi Kapoor. A very well-placed source told the news portal that Suhana will go all candid about her Bollywood dreams and her experience of shooting the film with the gang. The sources also said that Karan will be throwing questions regarding her decision of not choosing him for her launch. While Suhana might take a funny dig at him for already being the soft target of nepotism, added the source.

It is also being speculated that Suhana will open up about her dynamics with elder brother Aryan Khan and little brother AbRam. She would be mentioning the tough time her family faced during Aryan’s drug case. Well, if reports are to be believed, the episode can already be called one of the most anticipated episodes of Koffee With Karan. There is also a buzz about Suhana’s mother Gauri Khan gracing the show with her friends Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey.

Talking about The Archies, the upcoming Netflix film is an Indian adaptation of the iconic comic The Archies produced by Tiger Baby and Graphic India. Set in the 1960s, the film will be a live-action musical set that will introduce the teenagers of Riverdale to a new generation in India. Besides Suhana and Khushi, the film also marks the debut of Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The film also stars Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda. Shooting for the film began in April and the first look was released on May 14.
