Kriti Sanon misses Sushant Singh Rajput as Raabta clocks 5 years, croons title song in video; Watch

Actor Kriti Sanon remembered working with the late Sushant Singh Rajput on the 5th anniversary of her film, Raabta . The actress took to Instagram and shared a video wherein she can be seen singing the title track song of the film.

Marking the occasion, Kriti penned a heartfelt note for Sushant as well as her director Dinesh Vijan . For the unversed, Raabta is a romantic comedy film that was released in 2017. Directed by Dinesh Vijan, the film starred Kriti and Sushant in the lead role with Rajkummar Rao, Jim Sarbh, and Varun Sharma in supporting roles. The follows the story of reincarnated star-crossed lovers. During the shooting of the film, there were reports that Kriti and Sushant were dating each other. However, the two never denied or confirmed their relationship. In 2020, Sushant died by suicide on June 14 in Mumbai.

Earlier on Sushant’s first death anniversary in 2021, Kriti penned a heartfelt note alongside a collage of scenes from the movie Raabta. "The first time i ever shot with you.. Our look test.. 2 complete strangers, meant to cross each other’s path, for a film that spoke of inexplainable connection based in two worlds… Today, it feels so painfully weird to know That You and I are not in the same world anymore.Still feels like it hasn’t happened for real.
