Kriti Sanon to make announcement about her 'new journey' as she completes 8 years in Bollywood

As actor Kriti Sanon will complete eight-long years in the Hindi film industry, the actress is set to announce the start of a ‘new journey’ on Monday. The actress made her Bollywood debut in the 2014 film, Heropanti alongside Tiger Shroff.

Taking to her Instagram handle, the Mimi actress shared a video wherein she is flexing her muscles with her trainer. In the caption, she wrote, “Started my journey as an actor in the Hindi Film Industry on 23rd May. Announcing the start of a new journey tomorrow as I complete 8years here...” Reacting to her post, her sister Nupur Sanon wrote, “Yayayayayayyyyyyy” and added fire emojis.

For the unversed, Kriti Sanon kickstarted her acting career with the Telugu psychological thriller, 1: Nenokkadine in 2014. In the same year, she stepped into the Hindi film industry with the release of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heropanti on May 23, 2014. She also received Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut that year for her impressive performance. Since then, she has appeared in several films like Housefull 4, Luka Chhupi, Bareily Ki Barfi, and Mimi among others.

A day before, the Luka Chhupi actress shared a similar post hinting at her new project which she shot for the first time. She posted a behind-the-scenes video in which she can be heard saying, “We are shooting for something very very very special, I can’t tell you right now.” She captioned it, “Shot for something very very very very special! A first for me.. Stay Tuned! Will announce dayafter! ”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kriti was last seen in Bachchhan Paandey alongside Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi . She also made a special appearance in Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2 song, Whistle Baja 2.0. Next, the actress will be seen in Shehzada co-starring Kartik Aaryan. She also has Bhediya alongside Varun Dhawan , Ganapath with Tiger Shroff, and a Pan-india film, Adipurush with Prabhas .
