That Salman Khan is one of the most bankable superstars of Indian cinema is known to all. Now apart from acting, production, and singing, Salman is all set to spread his magic in the hoteling industry too. The actor is all set to build a lavish 19-storey hotel in Mumbai.

According to a news report in the Times Of India, the BMC has approved plans for Salman Khan’s plush hotel to be built on the Carter Road area of Bandra, Mumbai. The report further added that the hotel is being planned to be built on a sea-facing plot owned by Salman’s mother Salma Khan. The news report quoted, “The plans reveal that the 19-storey building will house a café and a restaurant on the first and second floors. The third floor will be dedicated to a gym and swimming pool, the fourth will be used as a service floor, and the fifth and sixth floors will have a convention center. Floors seven to 19 will be used for the hotel.”

No sooner was the news revealed that the netizens rather had some bizarre reaction to the same. One of the netizens took a dig at Salman Khan still being a bachelor. The comment stated, “Kya fayeda jab rehna akele hi hai.” While another user said, “Ek floor pe shooting range, for shooting practice” which was an unmissable dig at the megastar’s blackbuck case. While a netizen took a jibe at the Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam actor receiving many death threats lately. The comment read, “Lawrence bishnoi aa Raha he bhai.” A user predicted that the tariff for the rooms in the hotel will be immensely expensive. The comment said, “Booking price: only 1 lacs RS per day.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan will soon be seen in Tiger 3. He also has the sequels to his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan and No Entry in the pipeline. The actor is reportedly all set to collaborate with Karan Johar for a project too.
