According to reports, Salman was shooting for his upcoming film in Dadar's Shivaji Park area on December 4 when a man entered the shooting location. When the man was asked about his presence on set he responded by saying, "Bishnoi ko bulau kya? (Should I call Lawrence Bishnoi?)".

It is reported that the man has been taken to Shivaji Park police station, where he is being questioned.

Death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi gang

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang gained attention when they claimed responsibility for shooting outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartments in April this year. Later, they also took responsibility for Baba Siddique’s death and penned a note for Salman on social media saying that whoever wished to help Salman would be killed.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang states that they want to kill Salman because of his involvement in killing the blackbuck at Bawad in Mathania near Jodhpur in September 1998, during the filming of Hum Saath Saath Hain. The animal is considered sacred by the Bishnoi community

Recently, a person had called the Mumbai police control room and warned that the actor would be killed unless he paid a ransom of Rs 2 crore. Amid these threats, Salman has been provided with Y+ security. Apart from this, the Mumbai Police have installed AI-powered, high-resolution CCTV cameras with facial recognition technology outside Galaxy Apartments to enhance security.

On the work front, Salman is busy shooting for his upcoming film Sikandar, alongside actress Rashmika Mandanna. The film marks Salman’s first collaboration with the actress and director AR Murugadoss. The film is anticipated to be released in theatres in March 2025 on the occasion of Eid.
