In no time, there was an array of fans and followers who took to the comments section and shared their views on the same. One user wrote, ‘This is the best and the awesome news of the day. Never ever did anyone expect that this series will be converted into a film. Mirzapur has been a tale full of power struggles, revenge, and ambition that unfolds to keep the viewers hanging in suspense. The star cast of the show does a great job of impressing the audience, courtesy Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu Sharma, and Rasika Dugal. It also brought out realistic presentation of the underworld in the state of Uttar Pradesh and talks about lawlessness and corruption. As of every character, no matter how small he is as a person, is beautifully developed with reasons and histories that add up to it. I really hope that the film will cover upon these points too!

Another user posted, ‘The series was laced with great dialogues in it, and some parts have already been included within the popular culture. This show was pretty great through its visual aspects. Like, its color palette to composition to angles are always working for a story of those characters. The series explored all grayish areas of morality. Then, it just gets down to the core in respect of questioning by people: what is right or what's wrong. I really feel that the makers should not miss any of these vital points’.

A netizen pointed out, ‘The series of Mirzapur has always been full of unexpected turns to twists, so keep thinking over what's about to take place next and all at the same time waits on. The storyline was very fast-paced and will be left at cliff-hangers so you have to keep watching to know what happened next. I really beg of the film makers to not tease any of these vital points and aspects!’
