Directed Rajasekar reveals some key details about Siddharth's upcoming romantic action drama Miss You.

Earlier, we had reported that following the success of Chithha, Siddharth has officially launched his next romantic action drama titled Miss You. Starring Siddharth and Kannada actress Ashika Ranganath, the upcoming film is set to revolve around a man who meets his ex-girlfriend, falls in love with her again, and gets married.
Director N Rajasekar opened up about the movie in a recent interview and revealed the interesting reason behind what attracted Siddharth to this project. For the unversed, the director had previously helmed Tamil films such as Mapla Singam and Kalathil Santhippom.

The director revealed that Siddharth was mainly captivated by the female protagonist’s characterisation. He revealed that Ashika, who plays a college student, plays a pivotal role in the film, whose life changes drastically after an incident. The director also revealed that Siddharth plays a filmmaker named Vasu, who is sensitive and mature.

Reflecting on the film's English title, the director revealed that he wanted to go with a title that resonated with people of diverse languages. He revealed that he chose the title ‘Miss You’ since it's simple and easy to understand. “Today, cinema is not only made for a particular region. In OTT, our films will be placed alongside films from all languages. So, we have to keep that in mind when titling a film,” the director explained.
Besides the lead cast, Sastika Rajendran, Karunakaran, Bala, Lollu Sabha Maaran, and others are part of the supporting cast. The background score and original soundtracks are composed by Ghibran, while the cinematography and editing are handled by KG Venkatesh and Dinesh Ponraj, respectively. The film is bankrolled by 7 Miles Per Second Productions and is presented by Samuel Mathew.
