'Most awaited sibling duo': Fans are excited with Alia Bhatt and The Archies star Vedang Raina's pairing in Jigra

Alia Bhatt took to her social media handle to announce the wrap of her movie Jigra. The actress also revealed her co-star in the movie to be none other than Vedang Raina who rose to fame recently owing to his portrayal of Reggie Mantle in The Archies. The movie has been directed by Vasan Bala.

Talking about the same, Alia shared some delightful candid pictures with Vedang wherein they can be seen posing in Singapore. They can be seen twinning in casual white attires. For the unversed, Vedang plays the role of the actress’ younger brother in the film. The Student Of The Year actress captioned the same stating, “jigra oh… abki teri baari ho. @vedangraina & that’s a film wrap on #JIGRA 👊 @vasanbala @swapsagram. Vedang was quick to react to the post by commenting, “The best ever” along with some red heart emojis. Janhvi Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar, and Alia’s mother Soni Razdan also poured some love into the post. Actress Khushi Kapoor who is also rumoured to be dating Raina dropped some white heart emojis. The movie will be released into the theatres on September 27, 2024. It has been produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions. Jigra revolves around the story of a sister who leaves no stone unturned to protect her younger brother from a calamity in his life.
