Mouni Roy's Dotara teaser seems to have the same vibe as Jacqueline Fernandez's Genda Phool, do you agree?

After Dil Galti Kar Baitha Hai, Mouni Roy once again collaborated with singer Jubin Nautiyal for yet another groovy track. This time, the song tells an epic love story set in 200 BC. While Mouni sizzled as a queen in the captivating visuals, Jubin compliments her as a king in the music video. The T-series have recently shared the teaser of the song which is composed by Payal Dev. “The wait for this timeless love story is about to end!” the music company captioned the teaser.

In the short glimpse, Mouni is introduced as ‘beautiful nayika’ and Jubin as ‘handsome nayak’. Actor Darsh Kothari also makes a brief appearance. Mouni and Jubin’s chemistry looks electrifying against the backdrop of beautiful locals and the soulful voice of Payal who croons in her Bengali language. Mouni could also be seen dancing gracefully to the catchy tunes. However, the song reminded fans of Jacqueline Fernandez’s 2020 song Genda Phool , in which she shared screen space with singer Badshah. It was also sung and composed by Payal in collaboration with Badshah.

Soon after the teaser dropped, one of the netizens wrote, “Konsi language me hai yaar” Another reacted, “Mouni looks very hot”. One of the users stated, “Beautiful Bengali song” Another user commented, “Badshah ke genda phool jesa lag raha.” “Actually it's a folk song of Bengal.mujhe set hi dekh ke lag gya tha original hone ka chance hi nahi hai and agar Jubin jo ho to bilkul bhi nahi,” a netizen poked fun at Jubin Nautiyal. “Mouni Roy and Jubin Nautical the best pair,” added one of the fans.

Meanwhile, Mouni was last seen in Ayan Mukherji’s fantasy drama Brahmastra co-starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna. She will next be seen in a horror comedy The Virgin Tree, which is backed by Sanjay Dutt.
