‘My chacha is my whole childhood’: Hrithik Roshan pens a heartwarming birthday post for uncle Rajesh Roshan

Hrithik Roshan on Wednesday night took to social media and penned a heartfelt note on his music-director uncle Rajesh Roshan’s birthday today(May 24, 2023). Calling himself his biggest fan, he thanked his uncle for bringing rhythm to his life.

Taking to Instagram, the War actor shared a series of throwback pictures of himself with his uncle. Some pictures also featured his director-father Rakesh Roshan. “His biggest fan is me. My chacha is my whole childhood. The rhythm in me comes from him. Thank you chacha for enriching my life with your magic, and thank you for the innumerable musical instruments you brought into my life every birthday. Watching you create melodies will always remain my all time favorite memory.Watching you, being around you as you created for hours on the harmonium, hearing your voice, watching the sweetness of your expressions as you sang, all of it became me. I took it from you and it made me fly.” he wrote.

He continued, You were always the silent music magician but listening to you speak in the recent years has made me a fan of your words, your wit and your charm too. Soon after his post surfaced, his fans also showered birthday wishes for his uncle in the comment section. For the unversed, Rajesh Roshan is known for creating innumerable songs and tunes for several hit films from the 70s era till date. He also composed music for Hrithik‘s debut film, Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai!

Meanwhile, workwise, Hrithik was last seen in Vikram Vedha alongside Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte. He is currently shooting for his next Fighter alongside Deepika Padukone. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film also has Anil Kapoor in pivotal role. Besides this, he will reportedly star alongside Jr NTR in War 2.
