    Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's divorce has been one of the most talked about things for the last few weeks, if not months. Rumours of the duo hitting rough waters started doing the rounds around the release of The Familyman 2. Later, the actress took to social media to confirm that she has split with Naga Chaitanya and that they have filed for divorce as well. Now, Naga Chaitanya has opened up about it.

    Talking to The Indian Express, Naga Chaitanya opened up about his divorce with Samantha and said, "It was a decision made for the good of both of us. If she (Samantha) is happy, I am happy. That was the best decision in that situation."

    Earlier, when Samantha was quizzed about her divorce, she had said, "I think I am done speaking about it. It was important to speak about it and I have addressed it but I don't think it is necessary to keep on repeating that, again and again. I like to share, that it is just a part of my personality. Some people don't like to share. I like to share and invite people into my life. I have been pretty transparent and it is fun, I enjoy it.”

    Samantha and Naga Chaitanya parted ways late last year. COnfirming the separation, Samantha had written, “To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths . We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on.” The post was deleted later.
