Neetu Kapoor describes bahu Alia Bhatt as a simple & uncorrupted human; says ‘Ranbir is a very intelligent man’

One person who was exceptionally happy when Ranbir Kapoor tied the nuptial knot with his longtime girlfriend Alia Bhatt in April this year is the actor’s mother Neetu Kapoor. She absolutely adores her daughter-in-law and shares a strong bond with her. During her appearance on a reality show, the veteran star had also revealed that Ranbir’s marriage was her late husband Rishi Kapoor ’s last wish, which has now come true. Well, by the looks of their social media handles and their interviews, the three are now a happy family!

In a recent chat with Indian Express, Neetu shared, “People asked me how will be my relationship with Alia, and it will be be the same as it was for me and my mother-in-law. Alia is a lovely person. She is a beautiful, simple, uncorrupted human being. So, I feel the relationship between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is the husband’s fault. Because you love your mother so much, and jab tum joru ka gulaam ban jaate ho na, fir maa ko problem hoti hai. If you balance your love for your mother and your wife, it is always nicer. She will love you more. When you become too much of your wife, that’s when the mother feels… (Laughs).”

She went on to reveal, “I am not getting this feeling because my son is a very intelligent man, he balances his love.” The veteran actress explained that Ranbir may call her once in five days and ask if she’s doing well, and that is enough for her. Well, if only all the saas bahu relationships in television shows could be like Neetu and Alia’s real-life bond!

On the work front, Neetu is all set to make her big Bollywood comeback with Jugjugg Jeeyo. Alia and Ranbir, on the other hand, are gearing up for Brahmastra which marks their first film together.
