Neetu Kapoor misses Rishi Kapoor on son Ranbir's birthday; pens a sweet wish with a Brahmastra twist

As Ranbir Kapoor turned a year older, mother Neetu Kapoor got emotional as she missed her husband Rishi Kapoor on the special day. She also got inspired by her son’s recently released Brahmastra to pen a beautiful birthday wish for him. Alongside, she shared an adorable of herself with Ranbir wherein the mother-son duo are sharing a hearty laugh.

Taking to her Instagram handle, the Jugjugg Jeeyo actress called her son her Shakti Astra and wrote, “This has been quite a milestone year for You for US !!! Miss your father as he would have been the happiest proudest im sure he is orchestrating from up there !!! Happy birthday love you the mostestttt rana (red heart emoji) you are my Shakti Astra." Soon after, her daughter and Ranbir’s sister Riddhima dropped a series of red heart emojis. In the photo, Neetu wore a yellow-white ethnic outfit while Ranbir wore a white horizontal stripes casual shirt with a blue T-shirt and olive pants. Take a look:

On the other hand, Riddhima too shared a heartfelt birthday post for her ‘baby bro’ on her Instagram stories. She dropped pictures featuring Ranbir and other family members. The first picture is from Ranbir’s wedding functions where the Barfi actor was seen holding a photo frame of his father Rishi Kapoor. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “Happy happiest birthday baby bro”, with pink heart emojis. Even Ranbir’s cousin sister Karisma Kapoor shared a cute picture with Ranbir, who shares his birthday with Rima Jain and alongside wrote, “Two very special Kapoor's were born today!One who's soon to be a dad. And the other one who has the kindest heart. Happy Birthday Rima Aunty and Happy 40th Ranbir.”

Meanwhile, last night celebrities Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash and others attended Ranbir’s 40th birthday party. Workwise, the actor will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Luv Ranjan’s untitled romantic-comedy drama opposite Shraddha Kapoor.
