Kangana Ranaut is all set to join the league of Bollywood stars like Salman Khan , Ranveer Singh , Amitabh Bachchan , Shah Rukh Khan and Bollywood stars others by hosting an upcoming reality show Lock Upp . The actress who has known to be vocal against Bollywood's nepotism problem has explained her stance on the issue by sharing a clip from an old interview.

The actress who is being trolled these days for hosting Lock Upp which has been produced by Ekta Kapoor says in the clip that she never said had a problem with nepotism and defended her decision to work with the producer.

Having targeted star kids and filmmaker Karan Johar in particular about propagating nepotism, the actress said that Ekta Kapoor is not a part of the ‘Bully Gang’. She further says that her problem is with people from the industry who target outsiders.

The Lock Upp host can be heard saying in the clip, “Nepotism was never my problem. The problem was ganging up on outsiders because of nepotism. There is a difference. If you are doing your job quietly, no problem. But to say ‘ye outsider hain, ye yaha nahi hone chahiye because ye humare baap dada ki jagah hai (these are outsiders and shouldn't be here because this is our forefathers’ place), isn't it wrong? Ekta has never been a part of a bully gang, that I can assure you."

Kangana who will turn jailer for a celebrity prison on Lock Upp and decide the fate of 16 controversial celebrities on the show based on various tasks has also been heard talking about ‘nepotism’ and ‘B grade strugglers’ who made bad mouthed her.

Those none of the celebrities she seems to have an issue with will feature on Lock Upp, the actress did mention her ‘wish list’ of Bollywood celebrities she’d want to see in the lock-up and named ‘best friend’ Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor during the trailer launch of the show in Delhi.

Kangana has been busy promoting Lock Upp with Ekta Kapoor which is not her first collaboration with the producer. The actress previously starred in the movie Judgementall Hai Kya which was backed by EKta.
