New mommy Sonam Kapoor chills at home while maasi Rhea Kapoor takes up duty of Vayu, fans go 'aww'

Ever since Sonam Kapoor welcomed her first child, a baby son named Vayu, with her husband Anand Ahuja, the actress has been quite involved in motherly duties. Well, on Thursday, Sonam’s sister and producer Rhea Kapoor took some time off her schedule to take care of her nephew, giving Sonam some break time.

In the new pictures shared by Rhea on her Instagram handle, Vayu can be seen sleeping in his maasi’s arms, while Sonam is seen relaxing on a bed with lots of cushions. In the photos, Sonam and Vayu wore red tops, while Rhea was dressed in beige pants and a matching shirt. However, Vayu's face was also not visible in the pictures. Rhea posted the pictures with only the infinity emoji as a caption. Soon after, Maheep Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and Bhumi Pednekar dropped heart emojis on the post.

On the other hand, fans also swooned over aunt-nephew love. “Aunty cuddles are the best,” wrote one of the fans, while another commented, “What Bliss looks like.” Also, Sonam’s husband Anand also shared a photo of him holding Vayu with a funny caption, “Whattt”. He also tagged Sonam in the photo featuring him in a blue T-shirt and Vayu in a cute yellow sleeveless T-shirt.

Recently, Sonam celebrated her first Diwali after embracing motherhood. She hosted a lavish Diwali party which was attended by several Bollywood stars including Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon, and Bhumi Pednekar among others. Meanwhile, workwise, Sonam was last seen in Anurag Kashyap and Anil Kapoor starrer AK vs AK. She will next be seen in Shomi Makhija’s Blind. On the other hand, Rhea Kapoor has joined hands with Ekta Kapoor to produce a women-centric film featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles.
