Palak Tiwari clears the air on dating rumours with Ibrahim Ali Khan, reveals why she covered her face

A long time has passed since Shweta Tiwari ’s daughter Palak Tiwari was papped with Saif Ali Khan ’s son Ibrahim. After which their dating rumours started doing rounds while nothing really was confirmed then. However, now Palak has broken her stoic silence about the viral video in which she was seen trying to hide her face as she was photographed with Ibrahim.

In an interview with RJ Siddharth Kanan, Palak revealed that she and Ibrahim are just good friends, and it was actually her mother Shweta from whom she was hiding her face. When asked about the actual story about the viral video, she said that they were out with a group of friends not alone. She clarified that she and Ibrahim talk occasionally and she is in no mood to date anybody currently.

“No, no, it’s just friendship. In fact, it was all just conjecture. That’s why I didn’t pay any heed to it, because it was all very asinine in my head. We were out, we got papped, and it ends there. In fact, we were with a group of people, it wasn’t just us. But it got papped like that because that’s the narrative people like the most.” she was quoted saying in the interview.

Further, she stated the reason behind covering her face in the photos. She said that she told her mother Shweta that she was stuck in traffic on her way back home. When photographers took her photos, she knew that her mother would see them and know that she had been lied to. “The thing is, I’ve hidden my face from Shweta Tiwari, not from anyone else,” she added.

Describing Ibrahim as a very sweet guy, Palak further said, “We talk sometimes and that’s all. I’m very single. You check my phone right now there will be no message from any boy… I’ve realised boys are too much, and I don’t like boys only. So, now I’m in a phase where I’m like, ‘Hi, hello, be my friend and then stay there’.”

Meanwhile, Palak was last seen in Hardy Sandhu’s music video Bijlee Bijlee. She is all set to make her acting debut in Rosie: The Saffron Chapter. While Ibrahim is currently assisting Karan Johar on Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani .
