'Pan-India disaster': Twitterati react brutally to Vijay Deverakonda's Liger, Ananya Panday gets big thumbs down

After Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan’s box office failure, all eyes were on Vijay Deverakonda starrer Liger . The film has finally released on Thursday and early reviews are out on social media. A section of people on Twitter seems quite disappointed with Puri Jagannadh’s directorial. The major criticism was thrown at female lead Ananya Panday ’s acting. While a few lauded the film and called it a blockbuster, several hurled brickbats and called it a thorough disaster.

Well, Liger marks the Bollywood debut of Telugu star Vijay. He features as an underdog MMA fighter who stammers a bit. While Ananya plays his love interest in the film. The film also showcases the mother-son bond with Ramya Krishnan playing the mother of Vijay. The surprise element of the film is legendary boxer Mike Tyson, who plays an extended cameo in the film. With so much hype around the movie, the Twitter reactions have equally been brutal and rough.
