Parineeti says upcoming films with Sooraj Barjatya, Sandeep Reddy Vanga are as amazing as her upcoming reality show

It took Parineeti Chopra just 30 minutes to agree to be a judge on the upcoming talent based reality show Hunarbaaz the actress revealed in a recent interview. The show which will air on Colors will see the actress debut on the small screen and despite what trolls might have to say about this move of hers Parineeti says that she’s wanted to something on television for a long while.

The age old stereotype goes that Bollywood stars often descend to the small screen for work when there’s a lack of it in the film industry or simply for how handsomely these shows pay. Calling these cynics ‘crazy’ during an interview with Indian Express, Parineeti said that she is moving towards bigger and better projects in Bollywood and thinks that her big films are equally as amazing for her as a show like Hunarbaaz.

She told the publication, “I am doing bigger and better projects right now. I have a Sooraj Barjatya film and Sandeep Vanga’s next with Ranbir Kapoor . I think these are as amazing as doing a show like Hunarbaaz. I think I am at a pretty good place.”

The actress has been hailed for her good performance in the three of her projects which released last year including Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar , Saina and The Girl on the Train.

Parineeti also was asked about the emotional stories that are now being incessantly being focused on by reality shows to garner TRPs and defended the shows citing her first hand experience saying that there’s no script.

“I am giving first-hand information from my experience. We are never given a script nor told what to say. We have never met these contestants and react to their performances as it happens. I think if there is an emotional story, why wouldn’t we share it? The talent is not fake and they get just one take to perform. The reality is very real on the show,” She further told the publication.
