Payal Rohatgi says Kangana Ranaut was 'rude' at Dhaakad premiere after her post praying for the film's failure

Lock Upp runner up Payal Rohatgi recently attended the premiere of Kangana Ranaut led Dhaakad after hoping for Kangana’s films’ failure in an Instagram post. Payal has now revealed in an interview what prompted her to attended the movie premiere despite her disdain for Kangana post losing the reality show.

For the unversed after losing the Lock Upp trophy to Munawar Faruqui, Payal dissed Ekta Kapoor who produced the digital reality show and Kangana Ranaut who hosted it, in a long note on Instagram and also said she hopes Kangana’s upcoming movie flops.

Talking about her attendance and meeting at the premiere with Kangana, Payal has now alleged that the actress was rude to her when she tried to strike a conversation with her at the event.

Payal said she attended the premiere as a guest of her fiancé’s friend Sohail Maklai who is one of the producers of the film. She told India Forums, "Kangana was giving wrong interviews to justify her winner of Lock Upp. I have to be honest to my conscience. There are people behind the camera who invest their hard-earned money in a film. I went for them as Sohail Maklai ji is a friend of Sangram. In my post when I said her film should flop as she was the one using me for her reality show by calling me bada** and then on finale day saying that I used to bully the winner. Because that was the talk before she asked the winner to do a standup act in the finale."

On being asked about meeting Kangana there, Payal said, “Yes, I made an effort but she was not happy to see me and was rude."

Payal had earlier shared picture with Kangana Ranaut side Rangoli Chandel from the preimere and called her a good human being while also mentioning how her sister was unhappy to see her there and was sulking. The post also included a video of her conversing with Kangana at the event.

Despite Payal’s earlier comment about Dhaakad the actress recently also shared a post asking her followers to go watching the film and even promoted the movie at the premiere.
