However, expected guests Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Karan Johar gave it a miss.
The couple landed in Udaipur on Friday with each of their families and friends. They kickstarted their wedding festivities with Haldi and Sangeet ceremonies that took place on Saturday. Singer Dolly Sindhu Manas, who performed at her Mehendi ceremony posted a picture with the bride alongside a gratitude note.
Meanwhile, Parineeti and Raghav studied together in London and became close friends. It was in May that the two exchanged the rings and made their relationship official. Sharing the engagement pictures on Instagram, Parineeti wrote, “When you know, you know. One breakfast together and I knew - I had met the one. The most wonderful man whose quiet strength would be calming, peaceful and inspiring. His support, humour, wit and friendship are pure joy. He is my home. Our engagement party was like living a dream - a dream unfurling beautifully amidst love, laughter, emotion and loads of dancing!” read a part of her caption. Workwise, the actress will be seen in Mission Raniganj opposite Akshay Kumar.
