Prabhas drops a new poster for Adipurush on the holy occasion of Ram Navami, says 'Mantron se badhke tera naam'

With the gleam of lights and the echo of the chants, the makers of Adipurush released the new poster of the film on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami (March 30). The poster depicts Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Sunny Singh as Laxman, and Devdatta Nage bowing down to them as Hanuman. The movie has been directed by Om Raut and is scheduled to be released on June 16, 2023.

Talking about the same, the poster has Prabhas’ regal and sturdy look as Lord Ram. He can be seen wearing bronze-colored armor along with a white Dhoti and a red cloth tied around him while he holds a long bow and arrow. Sunny Singh can be seen sporting a heavily bearded look with a yellow-colored cloth strapped around his back along with a belted armor, white Dhoti, and a bow and arrow. Kriti Sanon as Sita looks divine in a golden-colored Saree attire and a Bindi. Devdatta Nage as Hanuman has a strapped armor look with an orange Dhoti and a giant mace. Take a look at the poster.

Prabhas captioned the same stating, “Mantron se badhke tera naam. Jai Shri Ram.” The poster got a mixed reaction from the netizens. One of the fans stated, “Looking forward to see this movie.” Another user added, “King prabhas is back.” However, not all netizens were pleased with the poster. The comment said, “When laxman had beard...why cant u keep beard for ram too...prabhas would have nailed the look with beard @omraut ...u totally messed it up.” The movie was earlier supposed to be released on January 12, 2023 but the makers postponed the same to work on the intricacies of the film in a more detailed manner after the backlash from the teaser.
