Prabhas takes a break post Radhe Shyam failure, undergoes surgery in Barcelona

Prabhas starrer Radhe Shaym despite its nearly Rs. 200 crore collections at the box office has been a box office failure. The pressure no doubt is mounting on the pan-Indian star to now up his game with his future projects but before that happens the actor is currently on a break in Barcelona.

Now, Prabhas’ stay in Barcelona, Spain in no holiday after the strenuous promotions of Radhe Shyam which arrived in cinemas last week, but the actor has reportedly been there due to a surgery that he had to undergo after sustaining an injury on the sets of his next Salaar.

According to an IANS report, Prabhas’s surgery was only minor but the actor has been advised complete bed rest after the procedure till hi next check-up. While the details of Prabhas’ ailment remain unknown, it certainly adds up as a reason to worry for his fans.

Earlier, netizens had speculated that the actor’s time-out in Spain had something to do with the failure of Radhe Shyam which also stars Pooja Hedge. The film in a week earned over Rs. 191 crores at the box office which is nearly not enough based on the humongous buget is it made on.

Prabhas truly stepped out of his comfort zone, which lies in action dramas, with Radhe Shyam for an out and out romantic drama. The movie despite its grand visualisation failed to entice the audience with its story.

Next on Prabhas’ list are Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, Om Raut’s Adipurush and Nag Ashwin’s Project K which are all mega budget films like Radhe Shyam. While Salaar is expected to arrive this year, Adipurush and Project K are lined up for 2023.

We hope that the actor recovers soon and resumes work and that all the hard work he’s putting into Salaar pays off finally earning him his next big hit.
