    Pratik Gandhi took to his social media handle to share a shocking incident where he was almost maltreated by the Mumbai Police. The actor stated that the incident took place amidst the VIP movement at the Western Express Highway in Mumbai. Fans were quick to point out to the actor that the incident happened because Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in the city.

    The Scam 1992 actor’s tweet read, “Mumbai WEH is jammed coz of “VIP” movement, I started walking on the roads to reach the shoot location and Police caught me by the shoulder and almost pushed me in some random marble warehouse to wait till without any discussion. #humiliated.” Take a look at the post.

    One of the fans wrote, “The Prime Minister Is Here” while another user stated, “Maybe it’s coz of the PM’s visit to Mumbai for Lata Mangeshkar’s award ceremony today.” One of the netizens said that Pratik Gandhi should have been more patient and should not have started walking out of his car. The user tweeted, “I was stuck in same jam. People were patiently sitting in their cars or standing outside discussing with fellow citizens on the cause. There was no need for u to start walking. Unless there was some urgent medical need.”

The user said, “Har Baar " Risk Hain Toh Ishq Hain "Nahin Hota Mota Bhai.” On this, the actor said, “Bhai Koi risk nahi sirf kaam pe jaa raha tha” (There was no risk brother, I was just going to work).”

    For the unversed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Mumbai to attend the Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Awards which has been established in the memory of the legendary singer, Lata Mangeshkar who passed away in February this year. The PM was the first recipient of the award. Present at the event was the late singer’s nephew Adinath Mangeshkar.
