Priyanka Chopra Jonas ignored by Anne Hathaway at Venice event? Netizens stand divided

Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently attended a jewellery brand event in Venice. The actress was joined by Anne Hathaway, Zendaya and BLACKPINK member Lisa at the event. The pictures and videos from the event have been doing rounds on the internet.One of the videos caught the attention of a Reddit user in which Anne greeted Zendaya with a hug but didn’t greet Priyanka.This has triggered reactions from netizens, while some noticed ‘snub’ others suggested that they might have met before the event.

The video shows Anne stepping on to the stage and hugging Zendaya, and Priyanka could be seen opening her arms apparently for a hug but stopped herself. The Reddit user shared the video with the caption, “Why didn’t Anne greet PC? She then stepped into the side with Zendaya.. Am I reading too much into it?" Reacting to the clip, one of the users wrote, “Awkward.Maybe PC isn’t big enough for her” another commented, “Does she have a problem with PC or something?” :So rude of Anne, I used to like her,” read a comment.

On the other hand, some of the users defended Anne. “PC Stan's needs to calm down. Not everyone is trying to bully poor PC. Just look at this video , do you think Anne hates PC?
STOP this victim card narrative.” Another commented, “Probably seeing Zendaya for the first time that day and had already greeted PC earlier.” “No that’s not what happened. Priyanka was probably adjusting her outfit because she opened her arms wide while Anne and Zendaya were still hugging. Anne must have greeted her before,” wrote one of the netizens. 

However, another video shows Anne having a cordial chat with Priyanka and Zendaya, clearly not the case here. Meanwhile, Priyanka stunned in a rose-coloured two-piece ensemble and accentuated it with a diamond choker. On the other hand, Anne opted for a gold-silver gown, while Zendaya wore an off-shoulder outfit for the event.
