Rajinikanth 'very badly affected' by daughter Aishwaryaa and Dhanush's separation?

Right at the beginning of the year, fans were given the news of Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth 's separation. The duo took to their social media to announce that they would be parting ways, after 18 years of togetherness. However, looks like Aishwaryaa's father, Rajinikanth has been 'very badly affected' by the news and both the families are pressurising the couple to mend their relationship and not go for a divorce.

According to a report in Wion, a source was quoted saying, “Rajini Sir has taken his daughter’s break up very badly. He keeps insisting that the separation is temporary. He has been urging his daughter to mend her marriage.” It was earlier reported too that Rajinikanth did not take the news too well and that he wanted to meet Dhanush urgently, but the Atrangi Re was trying to avoid the meeting.

Talking about the separation earlier, Dhanush's father Kasthuri Raja had said, Kasthuri Raja said, “It is a family quarrel that usually takes place between a married couple.” He said that there would be no divorce and that he had a word with the couple, who was in Hyderabad at that point in time.

Dhanush and Aishwaryaa announced their split on social media. The statement read, “Eighteen years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting, and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do Respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this.
