Rajkummar Rao is the newest addition in the long list of Bollywood celebrities who are venturing into film production. Rajkummar, along with his wife Patralekhaa are all set to produce the actor’s latest film co-starring Sanya Malhotra. The latest updates reveal that the untitled film will go on floors on December 2.

According to the recent update by Mid Day, Rajkummar and Sanya starrer untitled film will begin shooting on December 2. The film will also star Abhishek Banerjee, and Seema Pahwa in the important roles.

Helmed by Vivek Daschaudhary, the film will mark the second collaboration between Rajkummar and the director who first collaborated on popular web series Guns & Gulaabs. The film is also reported to be the second collaboration of Rajkummar with Sanya after their 2022 released film Hit: The First Case.

Speaking about the plotline of the film, it is reported that the film revolves around a couple in Mumbai and all the quirky characters they meet in between. The Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa produced film will premiere on Netflix. The source told the portal, “The dark comedy focuses on the hard life in Mumbai. Rajkummar liked how Vivek had offered a quirky and cool take on the story.”

It is revealed that the first schedule of the film will span for two-month in Mumbai and will end in January 2025. "Last week, the lead pair did a look test with stylist Sheetal Sharma, who is designing the look for the film’s characters. The movie will be shot on sets in and around Mumbai,” the source revealed.

Meanwhile, after the success of Stree 2, Rajkummar Rao has been in the line up for few exciting projects. According to Pinkvilla, the actor is set to feature next in Aditya Nimbalkar’s dark comedy film. The source stated, “It’s a dark comedy set against the backdrop of a murder. Rajkummar Rao loved the subject to the extent that he decided to produce his himself.”
