    Ahead of the release of Raksha Bandhan , Akshay Kumar offered glimpses of endearing pictures from behind-the-scenes of the upcoming movie. Directed by ace filmmaker Aanand L Rai , the film is scheduled for August 11 release. Taking to his Instagram handle, the Sooryavanshi actor shared a series of pictures featuring himself with director Aanand, Bhumi Pednekar , and his onscreen sisters-Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb , and Smrithi Srikanth. In the first picture, Akshay can be seen making a funny face as he poses with Aanand and Bhumi. While in the rest of the pictures, he is sharing happy smiles with Bhumi and his reel sisters.

    Sharing the photos, Akshay wrote an endearing caption that reads, “A film celebrating the most special bond where there genuinely was a lot of bonding ❤️ Sharing a few special moments of this very special film, coming to a theatre near you in 1 month. #RakshaBandhan releasing on 11th August in cinemas.”Have a look:

The film also reunites Akshay with Bhumi after the 2017 Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. In a recent interview, Akshay said that he has enjoyed working with Rai so much that he would like to team up with the director again. "I have enjoyed working on this film. It is one of my best films. I am thankful to Aanand L Rai, who has broken his own record of making two films in a year. Aanand ji is a very good person. I have done two films with him and I will do one more film with him if 'Raksha Bandhan' works," he told PTI.

    Bankrolled by Colour Yellow Productions in association with Cape Of Good Films, the film is set to set to have a box office showdown with Laal Singh Chadha , starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
