One of the most awaited films of the year, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmāstra is all set to arrive in theatres on 9th September. Not only does it mark the director’s return after almost a decade, because he was busy working on his passion project all these years, but it is also the first time that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be sharing the big screen with each other. Well, the happy couple who are also expecting their first child, returned home just yesterday from their week long babymoon in Italy.

When they were snapped at the airport, Alia’s adorable baby bump became the highlight for many fans on social media. Later in the day Ranbir was snapped under his mother Neetu Kapoor’s house. Well, according to new pictures shared by the paparazzi, Alia and Ranbir visited Karan Johar’s Dharma office in Mumbai last night. While the latter was dressed in black, the mommy-to-be looked radiant as ever in yellow. We are guessing that after their short but much needed vacay, the love birds are ready to dive into promotions!

After Laal Singh Chaddha, netizens plan to boycott Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra for these shocking reasons

Well, let’s see what happens when Brahmāstra arrives on the silver screen. Are you planning to watch Alia and Ranbir’s first film?

Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva is one of the most talked about films of the year. However, it now seems to have fallen prey to the boycott trend on social media much like Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar’s recent releases Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan. Viral tweets suggest that some are upset with Amitabh Bachchan, who plays a pivotal role in the film, for apparently questioning the Hindu ghoonghat in his game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, whereas a few others are accusing Ranbir, who played a cameo in Aamir’s PK, of being involved in insulting Hindu Gods in the film. Another reason why netizens are planning to boycott Brahmāstra is that they reportedly feel the upcoming film might mock shastras.
