Bollywood beauty Alia Bhatt has been unstoppable and swamped since the last few weeks. Not only did she make her debut on the red carpet of Met Gala 2023 but also attended the Gucci Cruise 2024 fashion show as their new global ambassador. She was also honoured with the Best Actress award at IIFA 2023 for her work in Gangubai Kathiawadi recently. But Alia had to skip the award show because her grandfather’s health was critical. A few days ago, she shared a heart wrenching post announcing that her doting grandpa breathed his last at the age of 93.

Alia took to her official social media handle to share a video she shot on his 92nd birthday, which featured her smiling grandpa with her husband Ranbir Kapoor in the background. Well, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan took to Instagram today to share a clip looking back at her father Narendranath Razdan’s wonderful life. In this post, Soni also shared unseen moments that Ranbir and Alia shared with latter’s grandpa before he bid the world a final adieu. The short clip of Ranbir enjoying a drink with Alia’s grandpa and her father Mahesh Bhatt is the cutest of them all! These memories will surely tug at your heartstrings.

Along with this post, Soni penned a heartwarming caption which read: “My daddy my hero. One of a kind. Original rockstar. Amazing architect. Of us and of buildings and of jokes and of just about everything….” She further wrote: “He also defied medical science on many an occasion, living with diseases that would normally fell most men but which he took as a matter of course and only as a matter of life and never death. Cannot imagine life without you daddy. How on earth will we manage.” In the comment section below, Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and their mother Neetu Kapoor dropped heart emojis.

We wish the family strength and peace.
