Ranbir Kapoor’s confession about his dependence on Alia Bhatt is a slap for trolls who think he doesn’t care about her

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt do not hold hands every time they step out of their house like most other celebrity couples. It’s their choice and does not mean anything. But there are many netizens who have called out the couple for the same. Recently when a video of Alia and Ayan Mukerji walking ahead of Ranbir went viral, a few even slammed the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor for not caring enough about his pregnant wife. A netizen had written: “ranbir do u really love alia? for heavens sake she s preg with ur child.. least u can do is hold her hand!! zero respect for u man.”

Well, Ranbir has now made a confession which is no less than a slap for trolls who think he doesn’t care about Alia just because he doesn’t show it when they are out. In a recent interview with Navbharat Times, Alia and Ranbir were asked if they are dependent on each other like their Brahmastra characters Isha and Shiva. Ranbir replied, “I boast a lot that I am very independent and detached, but in reality, I am very dependent on her. I don’t go to the bathroom or eat if I don’t know where Alia is. It is very important for me to have her next to me. It doesn’t matter if we don’t do anything romantic or even talk but she should just sit next to me.”

Alia agreed and chimed in to say that if she is not around, her husband leaves everything for the last minute. Well, just because they don’t indulge in PDA when they are out in public, does not mean that they aren’t in love. To each their own! On the work front, rumors suggested that after winning hearts with Brahmastra Alia and Ranbir have signed a romantic comedy next. However, the actress had clarified that the next film they do together will be Brahmastra 2, because Ayan is very protective of them.

If buzz is to be believed, Brahmastra 2 will also star Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the lead.
