Bollywood Bengali beauties Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Jaya Bachchan and Tanishaa Mukerji had been spreading Durga Puja cheer these nine days of the festival. The celebration ended on the tenth day with a sindoor khela in which Rani Mukerji stole the limelight with her contagious energy. The actress had sindoor smeared on her face and actively took part in the ceremony.

Several pictures and videos from the celebration have been doing rounds on the internet. However, one video caught major attention where Rani could be seen gracing Anupamaa fame Rupali Ganguly and happily dancing with her. While Rani looked elegant in a beige and golden silk saree tied in a Bangla style, Rupali opted for a red and white saree. The two grooved to dhol beats and bells before sharing a long hug. Another Instagram video shows Rani dancing alone before her uncle comes to give her a warm hug. Her fans chimed in to bestow love and affection in the comment section. “So beautiful Rani following all rituals sindoor khela,” wrote a fan. Another commented, “She is damn beautiful... I don't know why people judge her on height .... Her appearance is so mesmerising... I mean she has done so good films with SRK... Bcz she has that charm and looks.”

A day ago, Rani looked radiant in a blue-beige saree as she took part in festivities with Kajol and Jaya Bachchan. Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa among others also arrived to take blessings of Goddess Durga at the event. They all posed with Rani for the shutterbugs.

Meanwhile, Rani was last seen in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, the film inspired by the real-life story of an Indian couple whose children were taken away by Norwegian authorities in 2011. Though the film seemed to be a sleeper hit, Rani’s performance was hugely appreciated. She also appeared on the documentary series Romantics.
