One of the most sought-after actors in Bollywood, Ranveer Singh has been offered several promising projects after being impressed by his craft of work. The latest to approach him is none other than Adipurush director Om Raut . The director has reportedly met Ranveer to offer him a lead role in his next ambitious project touted to be heavy on VFX and made using AI-inspired techniques.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Ranveer has so far liked the idea and concept of the project. “Yes, Om Raut has approached Ranveer to feature in his next ambitious film. The project will be a VFX-driven project wherein Om Raut is looking to use an AI-inspired technique to film the entire movie. So far Ranveer has liked the idea and basic concept of the venture. On the other hand, Ranveer’s close associates have said that the actor liking the project doesn’t ensure he is doing it. “Ranveer Singh gets a lot of film offers and likes quite a few of them. However, just because he liked it, does not mean that he will do it. Yes, Om Raut did have a meeting with Ranveer and did pitch an idea, which the latter liked. But there is nothing confirmed,” said the one close to the actor. Well, Ranveer has not been part of any VFX-heavy movie so far. With OM Raut’s movie in the offering, he may have to think twice to dive into the new space.

Talking about Om Raut’s Adipurush, the upcoming Indian historical film is based on the epic Ramayana. The film stars Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh. The first teaser of the film faced backlash from many on social media for poor VFX, the moment it was unveiled. Saif’s look was also criticized.

Meanwhile, workwise, Ranveer will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus which also stars Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez. He also has Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, co-starring Alia Bhatt.
