Ranveer Singh praises Uorfi Javed's fashion on Koffee With Karan 7, reveals what her biggest nightmare would be

Surprisingly, Ranveer Singh in a rapid-fire segment of Karan Johar -hosted Koffee With Karan season 7 took Urfi Javed ’s name. That’s not all, he called her ‘fashion icon’. The Bajirao Mastani actor proved that he is a fan of those who experiment with fashion. On the first episode of the chat show that recently premiered on Disney +Hotsar, Ranveer was accompanied by his Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt .

For the unversed, Bigg Boss OTT fame Urfi Javed is known for her unapologetic fashion style. From donning a flower-made dress, to wearing an outfit made of papers and wires, the actress has grabbed eyeballs with her unusual sartorial choices. While netizens have often expressed displeasure over her fashion statement, she has not let it affect herself.

During the rapid-fire round, Karan asked Ranveer to name a celebrity whose nightmare it would be to repeat an outfit too quickly. Ranveer took Uorfi’s name, and Karan started laughing while Alia was also shocked. Karan then said that may be because she is in new cuts. To which Ranveer replied, “yeah she is a fashion icon." Well, it’s a big compliment for Uorfi and also a shutdown to her trolls as it came from none than Ranveer, who is a fashionista himself.

Towards the end of the show, Ranveer also shared that he is not feared of being judged for how he appears or what he wears. He said, “ I just express myself freely, and without the fear. I am liberating from being judged, I dress for myself and I feel good in what I am wearing and that’s most important.” After which he got a hi-five from another fashionista, Karan.

On the other hand, Alia shared that she just dress according to her love and interest at that moment. “I don’t think my fashion is a cut above the rest,” she said about her fashion statement.
