Ranveer Singh reveals how wife Deepika Padukone prompted him to take up Ranveer Vs Wild

Ranveer Singh will soon entice the audience with his intense adventurous avatar with the Netflix show, Ranveer VS Wild. While the trailer of the show has gotten a phenomenal response, the actor recently revealed how his wife Deepika Padukone had played an important role in helping him say yes to the project. For the unversed, the show will start streaming on the OTT platform on July 8, 2022.

Talking about the same, Ranveer Singh revealed at the trailer launch of Ranveer Vs Wild that he told his wife Deepika Padukone about his career experiencing a flatline. This must have been in reference to his recent box office duds in the form of 83 and Jayeshbhai Jordaar . It was at this time when he was advised by Deepika to take up any interesting project which tends to excite him.

Ranveer Singh was quoted to say, “I have survived the biggest jungle of the entertainment industry. Felt a need to shake up things. I was having dinner with Deepika when I told her that I feel my experiences are flatline right now and she encouraged me to take up any exciting opportunity that comes by and that’s when this offer came to me.”

Talking about the show, Ranveer Vs Wild, Ranveer Singh will be seen performing all kinds of challenging and nerve-wracking stunts and adventures along with adventurer Bear Grylls. From crossing a cliff to being chased by wild animals, the Goliyon Ki Raas Leela: Ram Leela actor will do it all. The trailer also showed him mentioning his wife Deepika Padukone several times. It seems that the show will be nothing less than a visual delight for all the fans of the actor. The show also has a unique concept wherein the fans will be able to decide the kind of stunts that they wish for Ranveer to perform.
