Runway 34: Hand-written note from Amitabh Bachchan stirs Ajay Devgn's emotions as he lauds him for his 'superior' work
Ajay Devgn shared with his fans the hand written note he received from Amitabh Bachchan for his superior work as director of Runway 34.
Ajay Devgn has earned a valuable token of appreciation from his Runway 34 co-star Amitabh Bachchan for his marvellous work as a director of the project. The movie which arrived in cinemas on Friday has been unanimously praised by the audience but the getting a note from the mega star certainly tops all the reviews for the actor-director.
The Runway 34 director and lead shared the note sent to him by Amitabh Bachchan with his fans on social media and expressed how elated he was to have received it.
In his note written on the day of Runway 34 release, Amitabh wrote to Singham star, “Ajay! Ajay! Ajay! An absolute honour to be a part of ‘34’ and to be a part of a magnificent director’s gift. Your work is superior, the way you have put everything together is simply marvellous. They say it’s your best -but I know there shall be many more ‘bests’ – Congratulations! Love Amitabh Bachchan.”
Well, Ajay too put his emotions to words in the caption of the post and expressed his pride in having directed Bollywood’s biggest superstar in Runway 34. Ajay wrote, “When the illustrious and magnanimous Amitabh Bachchan stars in your directorial venture, it is an honour that is hard to encapsulate in words. And when he uses his heartfelt words in a hand-written note of appreciation it stirs emotions that are a heady mix of gratitude, quiet pride and satisfaction. Thank you Amit ji!”
At the box office, Runway 34 took off with a rather slow place but the good reviews that are pouring in is sure to bring in many more people to the theatres in the coming days. On its opening day, Ajay’s third directorial earned Rs. 3 crores. The collection remain low owing to the tough competition the film has been facing at the box office with K.G.F Chapter 2 which is still going strong and the clash with Tiger Shroff’s actioner Heropanti 2 that performed marginally better than Runway 34 on Day 1.
