That Saiyami Kher, besides being an actress, has always been a sportswoman par excellence is something that we all know. Besides achieving laurels in acting, she has carved a name for herself in sports as well. Talking about sports, her love for adventurous sports is something that has always been her forte.
Recently, the stunning lady Saiyami Kher added yet another feather in her cap of achievements by completing a starter level of Surfing in Australia. After spending a gruelling 12-hour training in all sessions alongside her instructor, Saiyami Kher utilised her time immersed in nature wherein she could manage to ‘conquer the waves’ on picturesque Australian beaches!
Talking about the wonderful milestone, Saiyami Kher said, “Surfing has always been on my bucket list, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to learn than Australia. It wasn’t easy—there were moments of frustration when I fell off the board countless times—but every time I managed to ride a wave, it was so much fun and so addictive. I obviously just picked up the basics but it’s something I definitely want to be good at. I’m already looking forward to going back and furthering my skills in surfing.”
Looking back, a few months ago, the very same Saiyami Kher had expressed her gratitude towards the outgoing year 2024. She had posted a long note stating, ‘Thank you, 2024. You’ve been beautiful..I crossed so many dreams off my bucket list this year: attending the Australian Open, witnessing India’s incredible World Cup win live on CB, signing and shooting for a new film, training consistently through a packed schedule,— my proudest moment, completing my first Ironman 70.3!
A beautiful vacation with my family, Agni releasing, experienced the thrill of the Boxing Day Test, and fulfilled a lifelong dream of diving at the Great Barrier Reef.It hasn’t always been as perfect as it might appear on social media. There were tough days, moments of doubt, and battles with insecurities. But through it all, my Ironman training became my anchor—it taught me resilience, strength, and the power of perseverance. I came out stronger and I’m deeply grateful for all the lessons this year brought me.
Here’s to the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Thank you, 2024, for being a year of growth, gratitude, and dreams realized. Looking forward to 2025’.
