    A few days back, Salman Khan 's father Salim Khan had received a death threat letter in which it was written that his son will meet late singer Sidhu Moose Wala 's fate. After which Mumbai Police was seen in action mode beefing up the actor’s security. The actor has recorded his statement to the police regarding the whole matter in which he denied threats from any person, threat calls, or disputes with anyone in the recent past.

    His statement was recorded on Monday evening, a day after a threat letter addressed to him and his father, the writer Salim Khan. The threatening letter was addressed to Salim and his actor son Salman Khan, which said: “Salim Khan Salman Khan bahot jald tumahra Moosewala hoga k.G.B.L.B.” The police were contacted immediately and security was tightened up around the Khans.

    Earlier on Monday, the Bandra Police registered a case against an unidentified person and began investigating the case. They have so far seized more than 200 CCTV footage and a total of 10 teams, including the Crime Branch and the local police, are involved in the case.

    The threats came a week after politician and singer Sidhu Moosewala’s murder. He was shot dead near his village and soon Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar took the responsibility for the murder. He even claimed that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi , who had threatened to kill Salman in 2018 over the blackbuck poaching case, was involved in the assassination.

    Later on Tuesday evening, Salman left for Hyderabad with additional security to shoot for his upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which is now titled, Bhaijaan. The film stars Jassi Gill, Siddharth Nigam, and Pooja Hegde . Besides it, the actor will next feature in 'Tiger 3' co-starring Katrina Kaif . The film has been slated to hit the theatres on Eid 2023.
