Salman Khan ’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is one of the most awaited films on the block. Fans are waiting with bated breath for new developments surrounding the movie. The latest update is Salman will soon begin shooting for the entertainer flick from the second week of May. The same will take place in Mumbai’s Mehboob Studio in Bandra.

According to a news report in Etimes, the team of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will start shooting for the same in Mehboob Studio from the second week of May. The report further added that the cast and crew will then head off to Hyderabad to shoot for another major portion of the movie. The report also stated that it was earlier reported that the movie will kickstart in April but now the same will go on floors by May 11.

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will reportedly be released on December 30 this year, just 3 days after Salman Khan’s birthday. It was earlier reported that Salman has decided to shoot for the film closer to his Panvel farmhouse. The same publication had reported that the Hum Saath Saath Hain actor will be moving the set of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali closer to his home in Panvel.

The news report had stated that the sets of the movie that was being built in the Film City helipad have now been dismantled and will be constructed close to Salman’s farmhouse. Reportedly, this decision came after Salman Khan’s production house Salman Khan Films has taken over the reins of producing the movie from Sajid Nadiadwala. The report furthermore added that the superstar and Sajid Nadiadwala were not agreeing on many aspects surrounding the movie.

While Sajid Nadiadwala did not want to shoot the movie immediately, the megastar, on the other hand, wanted to start the shoot in a timely manner. Thus, the Dabangg actor’s production house will now be bankrolling the movie. The movie will be helmed by Farhad Samji and will also star Pooja Hegde , Aayush Sharma , Zaheer Iqbal, and Shehnaaz Gill in the lead roles.
