Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali goes back to original title Bhaijaan; here’s why
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming film with Pooja Hegde was initially titled Bhaijaan because of the story line. However, earlier this year the makers decided to finalize Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. Well, much like the star cast, the title has now changed again.
One Bollywood film which has been in the news constantly in the last few weeks is Salman Khan ’s much awaited Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. First there was news that the superstar’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma , who was roped in to be his on-screen brother, has walked out. He later returned to the cast only to exit again and was recently replaced by Jassie Gill . Then there were reports about Sajid Nadiadwala stepping back and Salman taking over the reins as producer. There was also buzz about a title change until the team decided to go ahead with Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali earlier this year.
Well, according to a report shared by ETimes, the latest update on the film is that makers have decided to go back to the original title, Bhaijaan, instead of calling the film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. For the uninitiated, the film got the initial title because of the story-line, which apparently revolves around three brothers. However, it was later finalized as Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. But now that the producer’s chair has a new occupant, the name of the film has also seen a change.
The film’s original cast included Salman and Pooja Hegde in the lead with Aayush and Zaheer Iqbal in supporting characters. But sadly Zaheer also walked out soon after Aayush, which is why Jassie was roped in along with Siddharth Nigam to play Salman’s brothers. Meanwhile Bigg Boss 13 fame Shehnaaz Gill , who was last seen in Diljit Dosanjh ’s Honsla Rakh , will also be making her Bollywood debut with Bhaijaan.
Amidst the many reports of changes being made in the film, Salman flew down to Hyderabad last evening to shoot for Bhaijaan. Hopefully fans will get an official announcement about the final title soon!
