Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal celebrate CSK's win at the IPL 2023, netizens call them 'overacting ki dukaan'

Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan were present in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium until yesterday night (May 29) to witness the ultimate showdown between the Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans at IPL 2023. The duo shared a video of them celebrating CSK’s victory and watching the fireworks go up in the stadium. However, some netizens were not that impressed with the same.

Talking about the same, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan can be seen watching the match from the VIP section of the stadium. While Vicky looks dapper in a black tee and pants along with a light green jacket. On the other hand, Sara looked pretty in a white crop top with baggy blue jeans and matching white sneakers.

The video has the two getting all excited once Chennai Super Kings win the match and giving a high-five to each other. They can also be seen enjoying the fireworks which went up as soon as the match concluded. They captioned the same stating, “बदले तेरे MAHI…लेके जो कोई सारी, दुनिया भी देदे अगर..तो किसे दुनिया चाहिए!!! MAHI FOR THE WIN!!! Jaddu you rockstar!!! What a match! GT… the best team through the tournament. Clearly, the game was the real winner. #ipl2023 #iplfinal.”

However, many netizens found their especially Sara Ali Khan’s reaction to be fake. Some fans of the IPL also pointed out that the duo initially supporting Gujarat Titans are now just pretending to rejoice in CSK’s victory. There were also potshots taken at Sara’s rumored breakup with cricketer Shubhman Gill who played for Gujarat Titans.

One of the netizens said, “Overacting Ki Dukaan.” A user added, “Gajab ki acting kar rahe hai dono. dono ne GT ko support kar rahe the.” While a netizen furthermore added, “The way Sara is happy seems really breakup really happened @subhmangill koi na next time. You guys played amazingly fantastic but hard luck.” Another user took a dig at them and said, “Good actors doing acting in the match.”

Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan are promoting their upcoming film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. It will be released on June 2, 2023. The film has been helmed by Laxman Utekar.
