Shah Rukh Khan and Sanya Malhotra shoot for a high octane gun sequence for Atlee's action flick

Director Atlee’s next with superstar Shah Rukh Khan is inevitably one of the most awaited movies on the block. Even though there has not been any official confirmation, rumors are rife that the film also stars Sanya Malhotra in a pivotal role. The latest reports suggest that the actress along with Shah Rukh performed a high-octane action sequence for the project.

Talking about the same, a news report in Mid-Day stated that Sanya Malhotra is currently juggling between Atlee’s film and her Guneet Monga project. After wrapping up some portions of Guneet’s film in Madhya Pradesh, Sanya immediately bounced back to shooting for Atlee’s movie. The filmmaker had designed a lavish stunt sequence to do justice to the action theme of the movie.

The report added that despite being new to the action genre, Sanya Malhotra picked up the action sequences which required her to use a gun perfectly. A source close to the project revealed that the entire sequence required the Dangal actress to perform some adrenaline-rushing action sequences. The report added that 4 to 5 days of gun training would have been beneficial for the sequence but the actress could not do the same due to the round-the-clock schedule.

Sanya Malhotra had to instead go through a rigorous prepping session of learning how to use the gun before she shot for the sequence. The Pagglait actress reportedly managed to nail the same and performed the sequence to perfection. This might make fans even more excited about the upcoming film.

Talking about the project, it also stars Lady Superstar Nayanthara, Priyamani, and Sunil Grover in the lead roles. An earlier news report in Bollywood Hungama stated that the film will be shot over a span of 180 days. A source close to the ambitious movie had revealed to the portal, “Shah Rukh Khan will be shooting for the film on and off for a period of 180 days until the first quarter of next year.”
