Shah Rukh Khan to reunite with Pathaan co-star Deepika Padukone for a chartbuster song in Jawan, read deets

It was earlier reported that Shah Rukh Khan has wrapped up the main shoot for Atlee ’s Jawan and that the makers are eyeing for a June release. Now, another exciting development suggests that the superstar will be shooting for some chartbuster tracks for the film in the month of April. He will be starring alongside his leading lady from the film, Nayanthara and will also be collaborating with his Pathaan co-star Deepika Padukone for another song who will be seen in a cameo performance in the same.

Talking about the same, according to a news report in Bollywood Hungama, Shah Rukh Khan will be shooting for the first track in Jawan along with Nayanthara on the first week of April. A source close to the development revealed to the publication, “Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara will be shooting for the first song of Jawan in the first week of April in Mumbai. It's a song composed by Aniruddh and is touted to be a chartbuster of epic proportions.”

The megastar will then star alongside Deepika Padukone in an epic chartbuster song on the second week of April. The shoot for the same is expected to go on till April 15, 2023. The source went on to say, “For this song, Shah Rukh Khan will be joined by Deepika Padukone. The song will be shot till April 15 and that would mean a wrap on music on Jawan.” The songs of the movie have been composed by ace music composer Aniruddh.

Now, that the main shooting of Jawan is completed, the post-production team is leaving no stone unturned to prepare the final cut for the June 2 release date. The source said, “Atlee is confident that the film will release on June 2, 2023. The final print with VFX will be locked by May 10 and even then, the team will have 20 spare days in hand. Atlee is a master at his job and knows how to fire under pressure." Talking about Jawan, it also has a cameo by Sanjay Dutt.
