Shah Rukh Khan trolled for attending Nayanthara's wedding post COVID-19 recovery; netizen says '2 din me thik'

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently graced the wedding ceremony of her Jawan co-star and lady superstar Nayanthara on Thursday. However, the actor’s presence at the big event just days after recovering from Covid-19 has upset his fans.

Reportedly, Shah Rukh was diagnosed with mild symptoms of Covid-19 before he travelled to Tamil Nadu to attend Nayanthara’s nuptial to director Vignesh Shivan . He made a dashing appearance in a beige suit to the star-studded ceremony also attended by Rajnikanth, Chiranjeevi, and Kamal Haasan among others.

Soonafter the photos of Shah Rukh Khan from the wedding surfaced, netizens flooded the comment section with rude remarks. While one user wrote, “Covid hua tha kii acidity 2 din mai hii shi ho gya”.“ while another user commented, 2 din pehle hua aur recover bhi ho gya”. Few questioned if he was Covid positive or not. “Covid nahi zukam tha”, added another user.

Recently, Shah Rukh dropped his first look poster and teaser of his upcoming film, Jawan directed by Atlee. The film stars Nayanthara as the female lead. The film marks Shah Rukh’s comeback to the big screen after four years. “An action-packed 2023!! Bringing #Jawan to you, an explosive entertainer in cinemas 2nd June 2023. In Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada," he captioned the post.

Talking about Jawan, Shah Rukh said that it is a universal story that goes beyond languages, geographies and is for all to enjoy. He credited Altlee for creating the unique film which had been a fantastic experience for him. “The teaser is the just tip of the iceberg and gives a glimpse into what’s to come,"he said in a statement.

Besides Jawan, Shah Rukh will also be seen in Rajkumar Hirani ’s Dunki co-starring Taapsee Pannu . He also has Siddharth Anand ‘s actioner Pathan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
