Actor Shriya Saran and her husband Andrei Koscheev have often been seen kissing on several public occasions. Even in presence of the paparazzi at the airport, they have made it a point to lip-lock. Recently, at the screening of her movie, Drishyam 2 , the two shared a passionate kiss, evoking criticism from a section of people. However, the actress finds it weird to be trolled for something so natural.

In one of the videos that surfaced on the internet, trolls slammed the couple, who tied the knot in 2018, for their public display of affection. One social media wrote, “They kiss every time in front of the camera, kiss at home." Another person commented, "Why do they have to kiss in public every time?" Reacting to the trolls, Shriya said, “It’s kind of funny! Andrei thinks that it’s normal to kiss me during my special moment and I think it’s beautiful. He doesn’t understand why we would be trolled for something so natural. But it is okay, it is fine (laughs)! I don’t read bad comments or react to them. It’s their (trolls) job to write and my job is to avoid them. I only do what I’ve to do, “ she told News18.

Drishyam 2 also features Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Ishita Dutta, and Rajat Kapoor, besides Shriya. The crime thriller has been making moolah at the box office ever since it was released on November 19. In just five days of release, the film is expected to collect Rs 86-87 crore as per trade experts. Talking about its huge response, Shriya believes that the magic of the film lies in its gripping screenplay. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film based on the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name also serves as a sequel to the 2015 film Drishyam.
