Shweta Bachchan's birthday bash: Karan Johar, Siddharth Malhotra, Aryan and others attend white-themed party

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan 's daughter Shweta Bachhan hosted a grand party in Mumbai as she turned a year older on Thursday, 17th March. The birthday bash was a starry affair as a slew of B-town celebrities including filmmaker Karan Johar , Shahrukh Khan ’s wife Gauri Khan, and son Aryan Khan, actors Ananya Pandey, Siddharth Malhotra among others were in attendance.

While Shweta’s brother and actor Abhishek Bachchan and sister-in-law Aishwarya Rai were not part of the bash as they are on vacation, several of her friends and celebrities from Bollywood joined her at the white-themed party. An inside glimpse of the party has been shared in a number of pictures by celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra on his social media.

Taking to Instagram, Manish posted a series of pictures in which he can be seen posing with birthday girl Shweta who wore a loose white outfit. Actors Ananya Pandey, Shanaya Kapoor, Shonali Bendre, among others were also seen in the pictures alongside the designer. While Ananya sizzled in a bodycon dress, Shanaya looked alluring in her off-white dress. In the pictures, Karan Johar, Gauri Khan, Kareena Kapoor ’s cousin Nitisha Nanda and Natasha Poonawalla were also spotted in white outfits. Also, the cast of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives including Bhavana Panday, Seema Khan , and Maheep Kapoor was also seen at the bash.

Meanwhile, unlike other star kids, Shweta Bachchan didn't enter Bollywood. Instead, she chose to run a fashion label and has authored a book. She is married to businessman Nikhil Nanda. The couple has a daughter named Navya Naveli Nanda and a son named Agastya Nanda .
