Shweta Tiwari explains why daughter Palak started her film journey as an assistant director on Salman Khan’s Antim

    Palak Tiwari got her first taste of Bollywood when she worked as an assistant director on Antim. She is now all set to share the screen with superstar Salman Khan in her debut film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

    Just like her mother Shweta Tiwari , the gorgeous Palak Tiwari is a fan favorite. Even before she has made her big acting debut in Bollywood, Palak has garnered a huge fan following on social media. The paparazzi also adore her! While we are yet to see her acting skills, Palak’s on-screen persona as well as her dance moves in Harrdy Sandhu’s music video Bijlee Bijlee won hearts. But did you know this music video was not her first project in the entertainment industry?

    Palak made her debut as an assistant director on an ad and then began her filmy journey as an AD on Salman Khan ’s film Antim . In a recent chat with ETimes, Shweta explained that her daughter wanted to experience everything on-screen as well as off-screen on set. She was quoted saying, “That’s why when she started she began her career as an Assistant Director. Her first project was one of my ads for a shampoo. Then she did Antim, she was an AD there as well.”

    Shweta went on to add, “Later, she became an actress so she’s a very humble girl, she wanted to experience everything. That’s why she knew the perks and disadvantages of everything. She understands on and offscreen. That’s why she handles everything with ease, be it paps, shooting.” For her acting debut, Palak will be reuniting with Bollywood’s superstar Salman. She will share the screen with him in his upcoming movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan . The action comedy will not just mark Palak’s acting debut, but is also Shehnaaz Gill’s first film in Bollywood.
