Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani wedding: Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal wish newlyweds; Karan Johar pens emotional note

As Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani shared their first wedding pictures on social media, congratulatory wishes began to pour in from all corners. From Alia Bhatt , Katrina Kaif , and Varun Dhawan to Karan Johar, the couple received heartfelt wishes from several B-town celebrities. The lovebirds got married in a lavish yet intimate ceremony at Suryagarh palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

Sidharth’s Student of the Year co-stars Alia and Varun have taken to their respective Instagram stories to wish them a happy married life. Sharing their wedding pictures, Alia wrote, “congratulations you two’ and dropped heart emojis. Varun, on the other hand, wrote, “wishing you a lifetime of love’. Even Karan, who also attended the wedding, penned an emotional note. “I met him a decade and a half ago…. Silent, strong and still so sensitive…. I met her many years after… silent, strong and so sensitive in equal measure…Then they met each other and I realised in that moment that these two pillars of strength and dignity can make an irreplaceable bond and create the most magical love story together…. Watching them is a fairy tale that is rooted in tradition and family…,” read an excerpt of his long note.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal , who share a close bond with the newlyweds, penned a sweet note. "Congratulations... All the love to you both," wrote Katrina, who worked with Sidharth in Baar Baar Dekho. Vicky too wished his Govinda Naam Mera co-star Kiara,"Congratulations Sid and Kiar!!! Rab dher saari khushiyaan bakshe. May life together be full of eternal bliss," he wrote.

Among others, Rashmika Mandanna, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Bhumi Pednekar, gave blessings to the couple. "You twooo!! @sidmalhotra @kiaraaliaadvani cutestttt... Congratulations!!," wrote Sid's Mission Majnu co-star Rashmika Mandanna. While Shraddha wrote, "Rab ne bana di jodi." “Congratulations to this stunning couple... Wishing both of you a lifetime of happiness!!!," wrote Arjun.

Meanwhile, Sidharth and Kiara shared stunning pictures from their lavish yet intimate wedding ceremony. For their big day, they opted for custom-made Manish Malhotra outfits. While Kiara wore a baby pink lehenga and rounded off her look with a heavy diamond necklace. On the other hand, Sidharth was dressed in an off-white coloured sherwani and traditional turban. Sharing their wedding pictures, the couple penned a beautiful note that read, "Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai... We seek your blessings and love on our journey ahead." As per reports, the couple will head straight to Sidharth’s Delhi residence for a reception. Following this, a grand reception in Mumbai is planned to take place on February 10.
