Sidharth Malhotra’s mother finally talks about his wedding; is excited to welcome bahu Kiara Advani to the family

During her appearance on Koffee With Karan 7, Kiara Advani had admitted that she and Sidharth Malhotra are more than close friends. Meanwhile her Kabir Singh co-star Shahid Kapoor called them a ‘good looking couple’. He also hinted at Kiara’s upcoming big announcement which is not a movie. Ever since then, fans have eagerly been waiting to hear wedding bells. Well, it is finally happening! Just yesterday Kiara and Sidharth, the bride and groom to be, traveled to Jaisalmer where they will be tying the knot. Kiara was glowing in an all white outfit and a pink shawl when she arrived at the venue.

According to buzz, Kiara and Sidharth will be getting married at the lavish Suryagarh Palace on 7th February. Like most other Bollywood couples, the two love birds have not yet shared the news about their big day themselves. However, Sidharth’s mother Rimma Malhotra has finally broken her silence on her son’s wedding. A post shared by Instant Bollywood revealed: ‘Sid’s mom, Rimma Malhotra thanked the paps for their wishes. On being asked how she feels about welcoming Kiara Advani to the family, she shared, “Bahut excited hain. Thank you.” Sidharth’s brother, Harshad Malhotra also said the same about the pretty bride-to-be.’

We are sure even their ‘hone waali bahu’ Kiara is excited about starting this exciting new journey with her Shershaah co-star! Well, guests have now started arriving in Jaisalmer. Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput were snapped at the airport today while filmmaker Karan Johar arrived in an all black casual outfit. According to reports, DJ Ganesh will be playing at Sidharth and Kiara’s sangeet tonight, whereas celebrity designer and good friend Manish Malhotra has designed over 150 outfits for the bride, groom and their family members for the wedding festivities. We can’t wait to see what Kiara and Sidharth wear on their day of love tomorrow!
