Sonakshi Sinha gives a tour of her private apartment in her parents' 10 floor home says, 'We don’t need so much space'

Sonakshi Sinha recently got her apartment refurbished in her parents’ lavish ten-floor home Ramayana in Mumbai and gave a tour of her home during a recent interview.

The Dabangg actress who is the daughter of the veteran megastar Shatrugan Sinha has a whole floor to herself in the building owned by her family, when the host went on to point out the fact the actress simply said, “I don’t know why we don’t need so much space.”

In the building Sonakshi has a private lift which operates on fingerprints. Living on different floors of the building Sonakshi revealed that the family reaches out to each other using intercoms placed in various spots in the house and in case they can’t get through, they simply call each other on their mobile phones.

The light interiors of her home give Sonakshi’s home a open vibe with lots of light getting in though the windows. The actress has a decided corner with family pictures and has also furnished the walls with some paintings she’d done herself.

The actress reveals that the building has a terrace which the family often hangs out on together through she’s never thrown any parties there. She also revealed that she likes to spend a lot of time at home instead of spending time out and about.

Asked about growing up in a star household Sonakshi replied, “A lot of people ask me that question but without realizing that I grew up in my parents’ house. To us they were not like stars or like famous people. They were our parents really so I don’t think it would have been much different than any of my friends. Our mom used to actually us away from all the limelight and everything dad was doing. Until we could read we probably didn’t even know how famous he was.”

A passionate artist, Sonakshi reveals that she simply woke up one day wanting to paint and got a ton of art supplies to focus on that. She has a decided room for painting on the fourth floor of the building which she filled up with the supplies and admitted that art helps her keep calm.
