Sonam Kapoor & Anand Ahuja wanted to ‘enjoy’ first 2 years of marriage; actress calls pregnancy a huge blessing

Just last month, Bollywood beauty Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and her husband Anand Ahuja announced that they are expecting their first child. The actress gave her fans a pleasant surprise when she shared beautiful snaps from a maternity shoot. While her social media followers congratulated the happy couple in the comment section, Sonam’s Veere Di Wedding co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote: “Wohoooooooo soooo happy for you both can’t wait for the babies to play.”

Well, in a recent chat with Vogue, Sonam explained how she and Anand had carefully done their family planning. The two had tied the nuptial knot in a big fat Punjabi wedding on 8 May 2018 in Bandra, Mumbai. They then decided to spend the first two years of marriage focusing on themselves. The actress shared, “It was the perfect timing for us. We will be married for four years this May, so we wanted two years just to enjoy ourselves and then we started trying and then it worked out. It’s a huge blessing.”

Meanwhile on the work front, Sonam will next be seen in Shome Makhija and Sujoy Ghosh’s crime thriller Blind alongside Purab Kohli , Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey.
